Dear Classmates:
Hopefully, you have noticed some changes in communications from the Class in the past year. With the help of our Class Council and especially Bonnie Brier, our Class Membership Chair, we are attempting to keep you all connected and re-engaged with our Class and Cornell. In these trying times, it’s comforting to be able to reconnect in our shared experiences which are basis of who we are today. To this end we are undertaking a series of interviews (the first of which is presented on our Website and the most recent class mailing) of people and events that influenced our Cornell Experience and our lives.
OUR UPDATED CLASS WEBSITE
I would like to thank Nancy Roistacher and Deirdre Courtney-Batson
for all of their efforts in updating the website. We are making an
extra effort to make sure that the Website stays up to date. Be sure
to explore the entire website as I am sure you will find many interesting
items. If there is anything else that you would like to see included
on the website please let me know.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT FOR OUR CLASS PROJECT
The Class made a commitment to fund the Visiting Faculty Suite in
the Carl Becker House, the second of five residential houses that
are part of the new West Campus Residential Initiative. With your
help and financial support, the suite will be named for our class.
We still need to raise $45,000 to complete our commitment. Every
gift, no matter the size is critical to helping us meet our objective.
You will be hearing more about our efforts shortly. So, please
consider a gift to this fund.
I want to hear from you whether you are excited about getting involved in some way, or just tired of all the mail you get from Cornell. Either way doesn’t matter; I want to hear from you.
